StrikeReady, a Composite AI platform for security operations, received an investment from Wa’ed Ventures, the venture capital arm of Aramco. The funding supports the company’s plans for a Saudi Arabia presence and additional capacity for enterprise security operations.

Wa’ed Ventures said the investment reflected its view of cybersecurity’s role in enabling digital economies and its interest in establishing a meaningful presence in Saudi Arabia. StrikeReady said the new round brought its total funding raised to $29M.

StrikeReady described its platform as Composite AI that combined pattern-matching and ML-driven automation for high-frequency work with LLM-based reasoning for situations requiring critical judgment. The company said it delivers unmetered AI coverage across alerts, incidents, vulnerabilities, assets, identities, and threat intelligence, running on top of SIEM, EDR, IAM, and threat intelligence tools enterprises already own.

StrikeReady said it planned to use the investment to enable MENA expansion, including establishing a Kingdom of Saudi Arabia subsidiary as its regional headquarters. It also stated its platform already operated on Google Cloud Platform’s KSA region to keep security data in-country, with a self-hosted deployment option for on-premises control, and that it would work with local hosting providers inside the Kingdom. “Our investment in StrikeReady reflects our conviction that cybersecurity will continue to play a critical role in enabling digital economies,” Wa’ed Ventures CEO Anas Algahtani said. “StrikeReady has developed a solution that addresses a growing enterprise need, and equally important, the team shares our ambition to establish a meaningful presence in Saudi Arabia.” “StrikeReady is unmetered — every alert, every vulnerability, every identity risk gets the right AI, on the stack you already have,” Founder and CEO Yasir Khalid said. Wa’ed Ventures added it would help connect StrikeReady with local partners and support long-term growth opportunities, and StrikeReady said it would invest in local talent development and partner with Saudi institutions as part of the regional expansion.
