Aviz Networks and Spirent enhance 5G network applications and optimization

Aviz Networks and Spirent Communications announced a collaboration aimed at enhancing the Networking 3.0 Stack, targeting intelligent traffic monitoring and network optimization for various 5G applications. This partnership allows customers to utilize open, hardware vendor-agnostic methods to monitor network applications including voice, video, and Internet of Things (IoT) services. By integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI) capabilities, the solution opens new use cases for the Networking 3.0 Stack utilizing open-source large language models.

The Aviz Service Nodes integration signifies a shift away from traditional costly proprietary systems, offering compatibility with general-purpose hardware. This flexibility reduces reliance on vendor-specific hardware, enabling smoother future network upgrades. Aviz Service Nodes, validated by Spirent Landslide, provide telecommunications companies with a reliable, cost-efficient solution, aiming for up to a 50% reduction in Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) through their AI-enabled offerings.

Spirent Landslide serves Autonomous System (AS) a comprehensive test platform for optimizing service provider networks, enhancing the validation of Aviz Service Nodes. This synergistic effort equips Telcos to gain enhanced insights through advanced data extraction and correlation analysis while optimizing deployments across various 5G architectures. The collaboration aims to facilitate improved network efficiency and service quality AS the industry adapts to evolving technological requirements.
