Aviz Networks partners with Spirent Communications to enhance AI-driven 5G network optimization

Aviz Networks and Spirent Communications have developed a combined approach aimed at enhancing intelligent traffic monitoring within 5G network applications. This initiative focuses on improving network optimization by integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI) capabilities.

The collaboration addresses operational challenges in managing voice, video, data, mission-critical services, Internet of Things (IoT), and enterprise-level applications through open and hardware-agnostic methods. Their work utilizes open-source large language models (LLMs) accessible via Aviz Network Copilot, an AI management tool designed for telecom and enterprise networks.

Aviz Service Nodes differentiate themselves from proprietary service nodes by operating on general-purpose hardware, avoiding dependence on vendor-specific systems. Spirent Landslide serves to validate these service nodes, leveraging its reputation as a comprehensive platform for testing and optimizing service provider networks. Together, these components aim to support enhanced network efficiency and cost reduction.

This collaboration resulted in a solution framework that integrates Aviz’s Networking 3.0 Stack with Spirent’s testing capabilities, providing a software-defined approach to network optimization for telecom clients. The combined solution intends to offer deployment preparation and analytics without reliance on bundled hardware.
