Atos to Provide Technology Services for CONMEBOL Digital Cycle
Atos said it would provide technology services for CONMEBOL’s new digital cycle tied to the official group stage draw of the CONMEBOL Libertadores and CONMEBOL Sudamericana competitions. The rollout centers on a digital ecosystem intended to connect fans, clubs, and competitions through web and mobile experiences.
The planned services align with CONMEBOL’s 2025 strategic partnership with Atos, which covered CONMEBOL Clubs competitions under the role of Official Innovation Partner. The next draw is described as the official launch point for this new digital phase across the season.
Atos’ services include a unified digital ecosystem connecting official websites, mobile applications, and a consolidated digital identity framework for fans. The framework supports cross-platform registration and the progressive building of a proprietary fan database, alongside an enhanced Match Center with real-time data, advanced statistics, key moments, and multi-competition tracking. The environment also introduces a fully integrated Gaming Hub and personalized experiences powered by unified digital identities and future data-driven capabilities.
CONMEBOL’s federation, clubs, and partners were described as receiving value from the platform’s scalable and resilient infrastructure, improved audience understanding, and streamlined distribution of official content. Atos said the services would be delivered in real time across web and mobile, with interactive spaces designed to increase participation and emotional connection. “At CONMEBOL, we are extremely pleased with the partnership with Atos Group, a commitment to innovation and excellence. This collaboration aligns with the Confederation’s principle of being a fan-centric institution, as we seek to enhance the experience of fans and followers of South American football around the world through our tournaments. We are confident that this initiative will position CONMEBOL at the forefront in terms of content and engagement with football enthusiasts”, said Juan Emilio Roa, Commercial Director of CONMEBOL.
“We are proud to support CONMEBOL in this new digital era with a comprehensive suite of technology services designed to bring fans closer to the competitions they love, while offering clubs and partners a high-performance and future-ready digital platform. The services introduced today lay the foundations for a richer, more immersive, and more personalized experience that will continue to evolve throughout the upcoming seasons” said Nacho Moros, Head of Atos Major Events. Atos said the competitions draw will progressively integrate advanced analytics, AI-powered insights, and new interactive modules to expand the ecosystem throughout the season.
