Asiacell adopts Cisco AI platform to enhance network reliability in Iraq
Asiacell has implemented Cisco's AI-powered Provider Connectivity Assurance platform to enhance network monitoring and reliability across Iraq. The solution is designed to improve network performance and support the delivery of digital services to nearly 20 million subscribers.
The deployment reflects a shift from traditional reactive network management to a predictive and automated approach. This aims to improve service quality and operational efficiency across Asiacell's coverage area, addressing increasing demands on network infrastructure amid ongoing digital development.
The Artificial Intelligence (AI) platform provides real-time analytics to detect anomalies and diagnose issues within network connectivity and service layers. It supports automatic problem resolution capabilities, enabling network operations teams to manage performance proactively and maintain Quality of Service (QoS).
As part of the project, Cisco's technology was integrated into Asiacell's systems across all 19 governorates in Iraq. The collaboration involved applying AI-driven network automation tools to support continuous monitoring and optimization.
