AppViewX updates AVX ONE to address 47-day certificate mandate

AppViewX released an update to its AVX ONE platform that addressed the new 47-day SSL/TLS certificate validity mandate and aimed to help organizations strengthen security, reduce compliance gaps, and maximize time to value.

The company said shrinking certificate lifespans would increase renewal volumes and create operational and compliance risks, and presented the platform update as a response designed to reduce those pressures through automation and policy controls.

The release introduced new certificate lifecycle management and quantum-safe capabilities, including automated discovery, provisioning, renewal, and revocation; options to enforce re-enrollment policies and generate new private keys; enhanced reporting; a Cryptographic Bill of Materials (BOM) across certificates, algorithms, libraries, and applications; and natural-language Artificial Intelligence (AI) search and dashboards for certificate operations.

The November 2025 Product Release was made available immediately and included predefined policy templates and out-of-the-box onboarding intended to shorten deployment time; AppViewX scheduled demonstrations of its Cooling Load Model (CLM) and Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC) features at the Gartner Identity & Access Management Summit in Dallas, December 8–10, 2025.

“Our customers need a future-proof solution that transforms regulatory pressure into operational excellence,” said Paul Trulove, Chief Product Officer at AppViewX. “No later than mid-2026, build and maintain a complete inventory of cryptographic assets to inform postquantum cryptography (PQC) migration planning.” said Gartner.
