Acronis renews partnership with Manchester City
Acronis renewed its long-term partnership with Manchester City to continue supporting the club's data backup and protection requirements.
Under the renewed agreement, Acronis continued to provide data backup solutions intended to address Manchester City's continued growth and increasing data demands, and the club continued to use Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud to protect data across its IT environments in the United Kingdom.
Manchester City first partnered with Acronis in 2018 to support its data backup strategy using Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud. The club benefited from Acronis' unified platform to deliver secure, easy-to-manage backup and protection for data across physical, virtual, and application environments, and Acronis' technology supported the club to scale backup operations without requiring additional IT resources.
The renewal stated that Acronis supplemented existing infrastructure, streamlined backup processes, and maintained consistent protection and operational continuity. Service providers were invited to join the Acronis #TeamUp Program to deliver Acronis Cyber Protection solutions to world-class and global professional sports teams, and Acronis noted that Cyber Protect was available in 26 languages across 150 countries and used by over 21,000 service providers to protect over 750,000 businesses.
Jeremy Way said, “Throughout our partnership with Acronis, we’ve benefited from their technical expertise and strong solutions as our data needs have continued to grow.” Ronan McCurtin said, “We are pleased to continue our long-standing partnership with Manchester City, and to mark the many years we have worked together during a period of sustained success for the club.”
The companies described plans to continue the relationship and invited service providers to join the Acronis #TeamUp Program.
