Acronis Introduces Cyber Frame, Addressing Service Provider Demand for Profitable, Reliable, and Protected IaaS

Acronis launched Acronis Cyber Frame, a hyperconverged infrastructure and infrastructure-as-a-service platform for service providers, global availability included. The company positioned the platform as a way for partners to deliver, protect, manage, and automate infrastructure services using their own terms.

The announcement connected the release to legacy virtualization cost pressures, hyperscaler cost pressures, and rising demand for regional and sovereign cloud solutions. It also tied the platform to regional, sovereign, and legacy virtualization replacement opportunities.

Cyber Frame combined virtual machines, networking, and storage with Acronis’ natively integrated cyber protection, management, and automation. The platform was described as protected by default, with built-in backup and disaster recovery, security and threat protection, and remote monitoring and management for every workload deployed on the platform.

The company described a flexible deployment approach, including Acronis Cyber Frame Cloud as a fully hosted option and Acronis Cyber Frame Local as a partner-hosted deployment model with control over infrastructure, economics, performance, and data location. It also said the platform included native multitenancy and tenant isolation, customer self-service and white-label delivery, and seamless integration with Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud.

“Service providers are rethinking their infrastructure strategies in response to major market shifts and need infrastructure that fits their business,” said Gaidar Magdanurov, President at Acronis. “Acronis Cyber Frame brings infrastructure, protection, and management together in a single, natively integrated platform, helping partners simplify complexity and achieve stronger margins from their infrastructure services.”
