Zscaler secures the enterprise AI lifecycle with acquisition of SPLX

Zscaler, Intelligent Network Controller (INC). announced the acquisition of SPLX, enhancing its Zero Trust Exchange platform with advanced Artificial Intelligence (AI) security features. This move aims to secure the enterprise AI lifecycle by integrating SPLX's technology, focusing on AI asset discovery, automated red teaming, and governance.

Jay Chaudhry, CEO of Zscaler, noted the importance of securing AI's potential, stating, “By combining SPLX’s technology with the intelligence of the Zscaler Zero Trust Exchange, we will secure the entire AI lifecycle on one platform.” This integration targets the growing need for security in AI development and deployment.

The acquisition responds to the increasing infrastructure investments and emerging threats associated with AI technologies. With SPLX's capabilities, Zscaler will provide organizations with enhanced risk assessment and governance frameworks necessary for safe AI Operations (AIOps). This includes deep visibility into AI models and automated remediation processes, vital for managing risk in AI applications.
