TPx introduces managed SASE service

TPx launched TPx Managed Secure Access Service Edge (SASE), a fully managed SASE solution intended to help IT organizations adopt a modern architecture for their network and security posture.

The company positioned the offering as a response to shifts toward cloud-centric networks and applications and the movement of security away from perimeter models; the press release said organizations needed an approach beyond Software-Defined Wide Area Network (SD-WAN), traditional firewalls, and Virtual Private Network (VPN) and that TPx Managed SASE removed the operational burden of configuring, deploying, and managing SASE internally.

TPx described the service as a cloud-delivered platform that unified networking and security services to enable consistent, policy-based access to applications without relying on perimeter designs. The release said Zero Trust policies were enforced based on identity and context, bringing security controls closer to users, devices, and applications as environments scaled and changed.

The company outlined operational scope, stating TPx would handle design, deployment, monitoring, updates, and ongoing optimization so IT teams could focus on security incident detection and response. TPx said the offering integrated with existing networks and identity platforms to allow organizations to evolve security and access models at their own pace, including moving away from legacy approaches.

TPx said Managed SASE was available immediately, delivered secure, high-performance access to data and applications, and was fully designed, operated, and optimized by TPx; the release noted the service was powered by Zscaler for Security Service Edge (SSE) and described a vendor-agnostic approach to adopting SASE without costly rip-and-replace projects.

“The network is evolving beyond perimeter-based designs,” said Steve Grabow, Chief Commercial Officer at TPx. “TPx Managed SASE provides a fully managed path to integrate security and connectivity in the cloud and prepare for what comes next.”

TPx said the offering built on its decades of experience in networking, collaboration, and security and established a scalable foundation for modern IT environments.
