World Wide Technology launches AI coding assistant and tools with NVIDIA collaboration

World Wide Technology has announced the launch of a coding assistant and additional Artificial Intelligence (AI) solutions, developed in partnership with NVIDIA. These innovations aim to enhance productivity and security for software developers by integrating advanced AI technologies into the development lifecycle.

Revealed during the NVIDIA GTC, the offerings include an AI coding assistant, an AI chatbot, and an AI network assistant. These tools leverage NVIDIA's AI capabilities and WWT's expertise to improve efficiency for enterprises. Mike Taylor, Chief Technology Officer at WWT, highlighted their commitment to delivering scalable solutions that yield positive business results across multiple sectors.

The new coding assistant is part of a collaboration which predicts that adoption of such tools will significantly rise among software engineers in the coming years. To ensure secure integration of these AI tools, WWT has partnered with other industry players, including Cisco and Codeium.

WWT demonstrated that its integration of AI solutions has resulted in productivity gains of 30% to 50% for repetitive tasks during internal testing, with plans to scale these offerings to clients globally. Justin Boitano from NVIDIA noted that the collaboration enables businesses to implement AI technologies effectively, facilitating advancements in various applications.

At the NVIDIA GTC event, WWT will showcase its latest AI solutions designed for enterprises, enhancing project management, customer service, and operational efficiency.
