Varonis Attains High (Alta) Certification Under Spain’s National Security Framework Standards

Varonis Systems, Inc. said its Data Security Platform achieved High (Alta) certification under Spain’s Esquema Nacional de Seguridad (ENS). The company framed the certification as an outcome of meeting the information security controls that apply to public-sector organizations and their technology providers.

ENS certification at the High level related to the security controls established by Royal Decree 311/2022. Varonis said the framework was designed to build trust and to ensure security when protecting data and critical infrastructure.

The company tied the achievement to its Varonis Data Security Platform and said the certification expands the list of audited certifications used to verify security, privacy, and controls for the platform. Varonis also directed readers to its Varonis Trust Center for more information about its security and compliance certifications.
