Toggl described a platform evolution that adds a layer over its time tracking product to answer questions about capacity, profitability, and planning. The company said the update uses tracked and planned time data teams already collect to support decisions in real time.
Toggl said it continues to maintain an anti surveillance approach, including no screenshots, no keystroke logging, and no webcam monitoring. It framed the change around moving from reporting what happened to providing answers about what to do next, including views for planned versus actual performance.
Toggl AI is the intelligence layer at the center of the update. The company said users can ask questions in plain language and receive responses that point to the specific week or task where hours increased. It also said project dashboards cover billable versus non billable hours and estimate versus actual performance.
Alongside time intelligence, Toggl said it unveiled a full visual brand refresh. The company said Toggl is available starting today at toggl.com, that existing customers would not see forced changes, and that Toggl Track remains supported with no sunset date attached to the original product.
