Tencent Cloud expands collaboration with Blooming Talk

Tencent Cloud expanded its collaboration with Blooming Talk by providing Tencent Cloud Chat (IM) as Blooming Talk's global messaging backbone, a move intended to improve artist-fan connectivity worldwide.

Fans expect instant, reliable, and meaningful digital interactions with artists, and Blooming Talk positioned messaging at the core of its platform's user engagement. As Blooming Talk scaled, the company faced demands for ultra-low latency, stable delivery across regions, and uninterrupted chat during high-traffic events such as live artist updates.

Tencent Cloud Chat (IM) supports more than one billion monthly active users and handles over 550 billion messages each day, offering low latency, high availability, and consistent performance. The messaging channel also enabled Blooming Talk's artist Artificial Intelligence (AI) to provide round-the-clock interactions, and the platform's lifelike AI voice call capability could be replicated using the Conversational AI solution.

Blooming Talk adopted Tencent Cloud Chat (IM) as its messaging backbone, and the integration completed in record time using SDKs, documentation, and sample code. Engineers enabled real-time one-on-one chats and offline push notifications on iOS and Android, which accelerated the platform's global rollout. Tencent Cloud Chat provided scalability and elasticity to adjust to traffic surges, and Tencent Cloud offered a flexible pricing model to align infrastructure costs with actual usage.
