Tenable Holdings, Inc. launches Tenable One AI Exposure

Tenable Holdings, Inc. made Tenable One Artificial Intelligence (AI) Exposure generally available, combining AI discovery, protection and governance within a single exposure management platform to address visibility gaps in the enterprise.

The company said AI had become deeply embedded and interconnected across organizations, creating an “AI Exposure Gap” that appeared across applications, infrastructure, identities, agents and data, and that many security teams lacked visibility into where AI was used, what data it touched, who owned or accessed it, or how users interacted with it.

With the General Availability (GA) release, the Tenable One Exposure Management Platform unified AI protection, discovery and usage governance across the enterprise, including Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platforms, cloud services, APIs and agents, and the platform continuously discovered AI across internal and external environments, on-premises (on-prem) and in the cloud to deliver a risk-aware view of AI locations, connections and exposure.

The release included enhanced capabilities described as unified AI visibility to find sanctioned and shadow AI across applications, workloads, APIs and agents; contextualized exposure insight to correlate AI usage, infrastructure, identity and data and reveal potential AI attack paths; and actionable exposure reduction and governance to remediate misconfigurations, close exposed services, enforce acceptable-use policies, limit data exposure and generate audit-ready evidence.

“Tenable One brings AI exposure out of silos and into a unified operational model for cyber risk where it can be seen, understood and reduced,” said Eric Doerr, Chief Product Officer, Tenable. “By connecting the dots between AI risk and the larger business risk, Tenable delivers the visibility and context security leaders need for informed proactive defense.”

Gartner named Tenable the company to beat for AI-Powered Exposure Assessment and placed Tenable highest for Ability to Execute and furthest to the right for Completeness of Vision in the 2025 Magic Quadrant for Exposure Assessment Platforms.
