Telos Corporation said it received a contract award from the National Archives and Records Administration to expand NARA’s use of Telos’ FedRAMP Class D (High)-authorized Xacta SaaS offerings. The contract is intended to support NARA’s cyber governance, risk, and compliance work in a secure cloud environment.
The agreement adds to Telos’ existing relationship with NARA. NARA preserves and provides public access to permanent federal records and also oversees federal records management, and the expanded use of Xacta is described as support for managing cyber risk and compliance across technology environments tied to that mission.
Under the contract, NARA will use Xacta 360 and Xacta.ai. Xacta 360 is described as providing an integrated solution for security authorization workflows, control assessments, compliance documentation, and continuous monitoring. Xacta.ai is described as applying AI-powered analysis and automation to reduce manual effort and generate risk and compliance insights.
“This award expands our relationship with NARA and reflects the agency’s continued confidence in Xacta,” said John B. Wood, chairman and chief executive officer, Telos. The company also said the full Xacta platform is authorized at the FedRAMP Class D (High) impact level, enabling deployment of Xacta SaaS capabilities in environments handling sensitive unclassified information through a standardized government-wide approach to cloud security assessment and authorization.
