Super Micro Computer Names DeAnna Luna Acting Chief Compliance Officer

Super Micro Computer, Inc. said Yih-Shyan “Wally” Liaw resigned from its Board of Directors effective immediately. The company said the change left its board with eight directors and did not alter board committee structure.

Supermicro also appointed DeAnna Luna as acting Chief Compliance Officer, effective immediately. The role change follows Liaw’s resignation and keeps the company’s stated committee structure unchanged.

According to the announcement, Liaw’s resignation left the Board comprising eight directors and did not create changes to board committees. Luna was named acting Chief Compliance Officer effective immediately, with the company citing more than two decades of experience in global trade compliance, governance, highly regulated markets, and legal risk management.

Supermicro said Luna joined the company in 2024 as Vice President of Global Trade & Sanctions Compliance. It said she previously served as Director Global Export Licensing & Classification at Intel Corporation and as Senior Director of Global Trade Compliance at Teledyne Technologies, and it listed a B.A. in International Business from San Diego State University.
