Super Micro Computer Adds Largest U.S. DCBBS Campus in San Jose

Super Micro Computer, Inc. said it added a new advanced DCBBS campus and expanded its Silicon Valley operations near its San Jose headquarters in California. The company described the move as its largest U.S. location for DCBBS and a step to increase domestic operations and production capacity.

The new site spans approximately 32.8 acres and more than 714,000 square feet, and it is the company’s fourth Bay Area location. Supermicro said the addition brings its regional footprint to nearly 4 million square feet and supports domestic operations that include advanced system design, manufacturing, testing, and service, along with global distribution of its DCBBS for AI infrastructure.

Supermicro said its DCBBS provides complete, modular AI infrastructure built from validated components and sub-systems. It described DCBBS as supporting end-to-end deployment flexibility, ranging from individual GPUs and networking switches to complete racks, site infrastructure, management software, and professional services.

Charles Liang, president and CEO of Supermicro, said, “This new DCBBS campus, which becomes our largest in the U.S., is a direct investment in American innovation and manufacturing leadership,” adding that the expansion targets increased professional roles in San Jose and production capacity. Matt Mahan, mayor of San Jose, said, “This investment accelerates next-generation AI infrastructure, creates high-quality jobs and drives local economic growth—ensuring the innovation economy benefits all residents.” The company said it expected to create hundreds of new high-quality jobs across engineering, manufacturing, and business functions.
