Capacity said it completed a more than $54M Series E funding round to support its next phase and continue expanding how its platform supports customer support operations. The company also reported that total funding reached over $159M.
The announcement came alongside a reported June milestone of more than $100M in annual recurring revenue (ARR), after what the company described as 20x growth in 3.5 years. Capacity said the investment reflected enterprise focus on consolidating AI investments around fewer platforms after years of experimentation with point solutions.
Capacity described its platform as an “agentic support automation platform” built around a shared knowledge orchestration layer intended to reduce integration work for deploying, managing and expanding AI across customer support operations. The company also referenced customer experience capabilities unifying omnichannel AI agents, real-time agent assist, automated quality assurance, conversational intelligence and proactive outbound efforts.
Capacity said the Series E round would support continued product and customer team expansion, along with investment in strategic partnerships and platform integrations, and support for international expansion. The company said its plans included continued investment in research and development across the Capacity platform, including AI agents, automation and enterprise knowledge orchestration, and expanding go-to-market and customer success teams. Kathy Ireland, a lead investor, said, “We invest in people and companies that have a clear sense of purpose and the ability to execute on it,” adding, “Capacity has demonstrated both over the past year we've worked with them.” David Karandish, CEO and founder, said, “The bet is evident as we continue to grow,” and outlined a “train once, use everywhere approach” tied to powering every channel from the same foundation.
