SEALSQ Corp calls for funded quantum readiness at Q+AI 3.0
Summary
SEALSQ Corp, a company that develops and sells semiconductors, PKI, and post-quantum technology hardware and software, used the Q+AI 3.0 event in New York City on October 25-27 to argue that quantum readiness must become a funded infrastructure priority. The company framed quantum sovereignty and resilience as central to that effort.
Governments and enterprises currently face two parallel demands. They must build capabilities in quantum computing, sensing, and communications while also preparing critical infrastructure and sensitive data for emerging quantum threats. Quantum sovereignty depends on the capabilities, expertise, and trusted partnerships required to keep strategic control over essential technologies, and resilience depends on systems and supply chains that keep operating through disruptions, supplier changes, and shifting geopolitical conditions.
NIST has standardized post-quantum algorithms, including ML-KEM for key establishment and ML-DSA for digital signatures, which give organizations a foundation to begin migration. Migration itself requires coordinated work across hardware, software, networks, procurement, and governance. The risk that encrypted information collected today could be decrypted by future quantum computers adds urgency for information that must stay confidential for many years.
SEALSQ outlined five priorities. These included accelerating post-quantum cryptography migration by identifying vulnerable systems and crypto-agility, strengthening trusted semiconductor and quantum supply chains to reduce single points of failure, building operational independence through interoperability and software portability, exploring how quantum sensing and communications could support resilient terrestrial and space infrastructure, and investing in talent and international partnerships.
Carlos Moreira, CEO of SEALSQ, took part in a panel with senior executives from Infleqtion, Rigetti Computing, SEEQC, and Oxford Quantum Circuits, moderated by Cantor Fitzgerald. SEALSQ served as Titanium Sponsor of the event, and Cantor Fitzgerald served as Presenting Sponsor.
Statements about future performance are forward-looking and subject to risks described in SEALSQ's filings with the SEC.
