Carlos Moreira, chief executive of SEALSQ Corp, is scheduled to review the company’s U.S. strategy at IQT Quantum + AI 2026 in New York City, held October 25 to 27, 2026. The presentation covers investments in U.S. quantum companies, semiconductor collaborations and engagement with research institutions.
According to the company, the quantum threat to current cryptography and the rise of AI-driven attacks make trust a hardware question. The strategy ties quantum investment to the development of secure semiconductors, trusted hardware and post-quantum cryptography. Through its SEALQuantum initiative, SEALSQ aims to help establish the technology foundations needed to protect digital infrastructure as quantum computing and artificial intelligence advance.
Its Root-to-Qubit-to-Space approach combines post-quantum secure chips with a hardware Root of Trust, post-quantum PKI and provisioning services, and quantum computing and quantum photonic interconnect investments made through SEALQuantum. The company also developed the Quantum Spatial Orbital Cloud with its sister company WISeSat.Space.
The keynote, “Securing the Quantum AI Era: From Silicon to Space,” takes place October 27 at 9:10 a.m. ET, with a Senior Executive Panel appearance at 3:15 p.m. ET that day. Mr. Moreira will also discuss the company’s investment in EeroQ, a Chicago-based company developing an electron-on-helium architecture, and the MIT Media Lab membership that supports interdisciplinary research.
The Lattice Semiconductor collaboration combines Lattice’s FPGA technology with SEALSQ’s QS7001 and QVault TPM technologies to bring programmable processing together with a hardware root of trust and post-quantum cryptography. The GlobalFoundries collaboration covers secure integrated circuits, post-quantum security intellectual property and chiplet hardware security modules.
“Building a trusted quantum future requires investment across the entire technology chain, from emerging quantum architectures and research to secure chips and industrial manufacturing,” said Mr. Moreira. Forward-looking statements in the company’s materials are subject to risks, including dependence on a limited number of significant customers and semiconductor industry conditions, so actual results may differ.
