Schneider Electric Advances Energy Technology for a Resilient Future at Innovation Summit North America 2025
Schneider Electric gathered more than 2,500 business leaders and industry innovators at the Innovation Summit North America 2025 in Las Vegas to address the future of energy technology. The event, held from November 18 to 19, focused on the pressing need for advancements in electrification, automation, and digitalization amidst rising energy demands driven by industrial growth and Artificial Intelligence (AI).
During the summit, Schneider Electric highlighted that the United States must add over 1,000 terawatt hours (TWh) of electricity within the next decade to keep pace with growing demands across various sectors. CEO Olivier Blum presented a keynote address that examined the current energy landscape and the company’s strategic transformation efforts.
The summit showcased an array of technology demonstrations, partner announcements, and new research aimed at helping organizations boost productivity and enhance resilience through innovative solutions powered by AI. Key discussions included the integration of electrification and automation in developing intelligent energy systems, which are vital for modern infrastructure.
Schneider Electric underscored the financial implications of grid instability, as reported by its Sustainability Research Institute. It noted that businesses lose billions annually due to unreliability in the energy grid. The company advocated for stronger public-private partnerships to tackle the critical gap in energy supply and demand, emphasizing the need to modernize grid operations.

In addition to addressing energy capacity, Schneider Electric introduced several initiatives aimed at enhancing its service offerings. These included advancements in energy advisory services and the introduction of the EcoStruxure™ platform, designed to create intelligent ecosystems for real-time data insights.
