Rapid7 expanded Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) partnership with Microsoft to enhance detection and response capabilities within Microsoft environments. The collaboration aims to simplify operations and strengthen security for organizations utilizing Microsoft technologies. The newly introduced Managed Detection and Response (MDR) for Microsoft integrates with Microsoft Defender for comprehensive coverage across endpoints, cloud, identity, and email.

This integrated solution provides 24/7 MDR supported by AI-driven insights and human expertise, helping organizations improve threat detection and response capabilities. By maximizing existing investments in Microsoft security solutions, Rapid7 intends to assist organizations in navigating complex security challenges.

Corey Thomas, CEO of Rapid7, emphasized that this partnership aligns with Microsoft’s technological advancements, allowing users to leverage the combined strengths of both companies. The enhanced service is expected to launch in early 2026, offering additional detection and response capabilities designed to meet evolving security needs.
