Quantum Systems opens new U.S. facility to scale delivery of AI-powered ISR solutions

Quantum Systems opened a new 135,000-square-foot production facility in Moorpark, California, on June 6, 2025. This facility expands the company's U.S. operations and aims to meet the rising demand for its tactical uncrewed aerial systems.

Situated in Southern California, the new site is designed to support defense and security partners across North and Latin America. Quantum Systems plans to employ more than 100 individuals in the Moorpark area by the end of 2025, contributing to local aerospace and defense initiatives.

CEO Dave Sharpin highlighted the facility as a foundation for future defense technology and emphasized a commitment to faster delivery of AI-powered systems. The center includes secure manufacturing lines, engineering labs, and Research and Development (R&D) areas, facilitating end-to-end production and improved responsiveness to mission needs.

With existing operations in Germany, Australia, Ukraine, Romania, and the UK, Quantum Systems consolidates its U.S. activities at this new site, enhancing collaboration while addressing the demand for modular Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) solutions. To celebrate the opening, the company hosted an event for defense officials and industry partners to showcase its capabilities.
