Daily Intelligence Brief: Actelis Networks, KLOG, and Netskope Developments - June 25, 2025

Actelis Networks received an order from a major U.S. telecommunications carrier for its GigaLine solutions, which enable gigabit connectivity in multi-dwelling units (MDUs). This order marks Actelis' first collaboration with a significant telecommunications provider, enhancing service offerings without requiring new fiber installations inside buildings.

The GigaLine 800 and GigaLine 900 solutions are designed to deliver fiber-grade connectivity, allowing broadband service providers to efficiently extend high-speed internet access to apartment complexes. The deployment is anticipated to streamline the expansion of high-speed services while minimizing installation costs and time.

KLOG Transport Solutions partnered with ORBCOMM to improve cargo visibility in Europe through satellite Internet of Things (IoT) technology. KLOG selected ORBCOMM’s solutions to enhance logistics operations on routes with limited cellular coverage, addressing visibility gaps for secure deliveries in sectors like apparel.

KLOG successfully tested ORBCOMM’s technology on critical European rail routes, achieving near-complete cargo visibility. Marta Cardoso, General Director of KLOG, noted the solution's ability to overcome visibility gaps experienced during rail transport.

The Apache Software Foundation (ASF) announced the schedule for its Community Over Code North America event, set for September 11-14, 2025, in Minneapolis. The event serves to unite contributors in a vendor-neutral environment and will cover topics such as big data and IoT.

Itential's recent blog addressed the challenges of network automation stemming from inadequate error handling. Companies often face increased troubleshooting instead of operational efficiencies when integrating automation frameworks that lack robust error management.

Embed Security introduced its agentic security platform to enhance cybersecurity operations by autonomously triaging alerts, reducing false positives by 90%. The platform allows security teams to focus on real threats rather than false alarms, thereby improving operational efficiency.

Akamai Technologies announced enhancements to its Application Programming Interface (API) security offerings. Updates focus on providing clients with real-time monitoring and threat detection, addressing evolving challenges in API security amid increasing cyber threats targeting these interfaces.

Netskope approaches the milestone of 300 patents. CISO James Robinson discussed the significance of their recent patent related to Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) forensics, highlighting collaborative efforts between the cybersecurity team and Research and Development (R&D) (R7D) to address real-world challenges and enhance Security Operations (SecOps).
