PTC launches PTC Jetstream for product collaboration

PTC launched PTC Jetstream, a cloud and AI-native product collaboration solution designed to connect people, product information, and decisions. The company positioned the offering as a way for product companies to move faster, catch issues sooner, and bring products to market.

Products are growing more complex, and organizations need expertise from across the business to take part in development without slowing innovation. Reviews and discussions that shape a product, however, often sit in disconnected tools and processes. That fragmentation makes it harder to reconcile input, keep a clear record of what was agreed, and carry those agreements into execution.

PTC Jetstream provides a shared environment for real-time and asynchronous collaboration. Its Secure Collaboration Rooms are access-controlled workspaces where selected employees, suppliers, and partners take part in product reviews. Participants view supported 2D and 3D product data in a browser without working directly in CAD or PLM. Comments and markups attach to the reviewed content, including the data version, reviewer, time, and view context.

PTC Jetstream also connects to Windchill, PTC’s PLM solution. A collaboration can start from Windchill, and the product data involved can move into the Collaboration Rooms. Issues raised and decisions reached then return to Windchill against that product data, so teams working there know what was agreed and why. AI Room Summaries add a quick view of key discussions, outcomes, next steps, and owners.
