Sify introduces Pay-per-use model for AI cloud services in India

Sify Technologies Limited has launched a Pay-per-use model for its Artificial Intelligence (AI) Cloud Services, designed to address the sector's increasing demand. This announcement aligns with the enhancement of Sify's certified DGX-Ready data center capabilities located in Chennai, Noida, and Navi Mumbai.

Product Update

The introduced hourly pricing structure incorporates hosting, power, and infrastructure expenditures. This initiative aims to reduce the entry-cost barrier for users and facilitate the prompt deployment of AI solutions through Sify’s Graphics Processing Unit (GPU) Cloud partners.

Technology Strategy

Sify's Information and Communication Technology (ICT) ecosystem will offer services such as global connectivity and managed services. Initial support will be provided for various NVIDIA platforms, further integrating Sify's infrastructure with AI offerings.

Sharad Agarwal, CEO of Sify Infinit Spaces Limited, highlighted that the company's infrastructure is conducive for swift AI platform deployment. This enables colocation partners to roll out the latest NVIDIA GPUs while Sify oversees the local infrastructure.

Rajiv Ranjan, Associate Research Director at IDC Asia Pacific, remarked on India's emerging importance in the global AI arena. He noted that Sify’s colocation model, utilizing NVIDIA-certified platforms, is essential in addressing barriers to AI adoption, thus allowing organizations to leverage India's capabilities effectively.
