Nota AI partners with Samsung Electronics to optimize AI for Exynos 2500 processor

Nota Artificial Intelligence (AI) entered into a collaboration agreement with Samsung Electronics' System LSI Business to incorporate its AI model optimization technology into Samsung's Exynos 2500 application processor.

The integration supports development of on-device AI capabilities by enhancing model optimization efficiency, which can enable Generative AI (GenAI) functionalities on devices using the Exynos 2500 processor without relying on cloud services.

Samsung's Exynos AI Studio, an optimization toolchain for Exynos processors, incorporated Nota AI's core technology to improve AI model efficiency and performance for on-device use.

As part of the collaboration, Nota AI contributed the foundational technology that supports advanced GenAI experiences on the Exynos 2500 Access Point (AP).

Chulmin Jo, vice president of Mobile AP software development at Samsung Electronics, said, “The integration of Nota AI's optimization technology into Exynos AI Studio has enhanced the efficiency of on-device AI model development compared to previous generations. We are pleased with the strong results from this collaboration and look forward to continued advancements together.” Myungsu Chae, CEO of Nota AI, said, “This collaboration represents a breakthrough case in bringing our AI optimization technology to globally commercialized consumer devices. It's more than just supplying software—we've built a tightly integrated framework where AI hardware and software converge to deliver high-performance generative AI at the edge. We will continue expanding the on-device AI ecosystem with Samsung Electronics and leading global partners and deliver tangible market impact through innovative technology.”

Nota AI, backed by strategic investments from Samsung Electronics, LG, NAVER D2SF, and Kakao, has applied its technology in commercial products. Following its recent listing on the Korea Exchange via the technology-special track, Nota AI plans to utilize raised capital to expand in major global markets including North America, Europe, and the Middle East.
