Mirantis launches k0rdent Application Catalog with 19 integrations

Mirantis has launched the k0rdent Application Catalog, which includes 19 verified integrations designed to accelerate cloud-native and Artificial Intelligence (AI) workload deployments. With this catalog, platform engineers can streamline operations across various infrastructure environments.

The catalog facilitates the deployment of Kubernetes clusters within data center, as well as on platforms like Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure. It aims to address challenges associated with managing a diverse set of infrastructures, including minimizing operational complexity and resource sprawl.

Randy Bias, vice president of open source strategy at Mirantis, stated, “By providing a central control point across infrastructure, k0rdent has attracted a growing ecosystem, facilitating deployment of cloud-native and AI workloads with greater agility, efficiency, and control.” He emphasized the significance of optimizing inference workloads through Dynamic Resource Allocation (DRA).

Developing the catalog is part of Mirantis's broader mission to support enterprises in building and managing secure, scalable applications. This catalog aids platform teams by integrating networking, security, and storage solutions while ensuring updated access to the latest tools necessary for deployment.

The catalog remains continuously updated, featuring services and templates that streamline the integration of complementary technologies into Kubernetes clusters. Notable tools within the catalog include load balancing solutions, security features, and continuous delivery options to enhance cloud cost monitoring and resource efficiency.

For further details, resources and documentation are available via GitHub. Organizations can apply to be added to the catalog directly through their submission process.
