Lantronix Inc. partners with Melchioni Electronics for European distribution

Lantronix Inc. announced a distribution partnership with Milan-based Melchioni Electronics to broaden distribution of its Internet of Things (IoT) and Edge Artificial Intelligence (AI) products across Europe and was expected to expand access to its portfolio and accelerate regional revenue growth.

The companies described the arrangement as a way to extend Lantronix’s go-to-market reach across multiple European markets and to strengthen international sales execution by using Melchioni’s regional infrastructure and long-standing customer relationships.

Lantronix offers IoT and Edge AI product solutions that provide intelligent computing, secure connectivity and remote management through hardware, software and services for applications such as secure video surveillance, intelligent utility infrastructure and resilient out-of-band network management, and it noted serving markets including smart cities, enterprise IT and commercial and defense unmanned systems, including drones.

Under the distribution agreement, Melchioni Electronics will distribute Lantronix’s IoT and Edge AI product solutions and will provide localized technical and sales support in Italy, Spain, Germany, France, Slovenia and Greece; Melchioni’s regional footprint, multi-country infrastructure and decades of experience in industrial, embedded and connectivity markets were cited as supporting factors.
