JumpCloud Inc. acquires MacSolution and adds São Paulo hub
JumpCloud Inc. acquired MacSolution, the largest JumpCloud managed service provider in the Americas; the acquisition helped JumpCloud continue to develop a go-to-market hub in São Paulo, Brazil following its earlier purchase of VaultOne.
MacSolution specialized in helping companies modernize their IT by managing user identities, access, and devices. The acquisition brought MacSolution's team and technical knowledge specific to JumpCloud into the company and moved GTM and professional services personnel in-house.
JumpCloud delivers a unified identity, device, and access management platform that makes it possible to manage identities, devices, and access across an organization and to manage Windows, Apple, Linux, and Android devices from a single platform.
JumpCloud integrated MacSolution personnel into its operations and said the São Paulo hub would serve as a central operational center to expand capacity for expert services and to provide access to specialists who handle complex and legacy migrations to cloud-native IT.
“Our mission is simple: to power modern work by intelligently and securely connecting every identity, device, and agent to the access they need,” said Antoine Jebara, co-founder and general manager of Managed Services Provider (MSP) business, JumpCloud.
The integration was said to provide customers with increased global capacity, fast, secure migrations to cloud-native IT, and support for enterprise deployments; the details of the transaction were not disclosed.
