Jamf showcases AI-powered management features and enhanced security capabilities at Jamf Nation Live
Jamf, a provider of Apple management solutions, showcased advancements at Jamf Nation Live, focusing on new features in Artificial Intelligence (AI), automation, compliance, and identity management. The company outlined its strategic direction during the U.S. segment of its global event series, which will continue in Europe and Asia.
Central to the updates is Jamf's AI Assistant, designed to streamline IT operations. It now includes a search skill for quick device inventory queries and an explain skill that clarifies complex mobile device management settings. Both features are currently in beta testing.

The company also highlighted improvements to Self Service+, empowering end-users by allowing them to manage app requests and security settings independently. Enhancements to identity management further support compliance and organizational security.
On the compliance front, Jamf introduced Compliance Benchmarks in Jamf Pro, enabling automated hardening workflows for improved security posture. Also announced was a new malware detection capability within App Installers, which scans applications for vulnerabilities before deployment.
To facilitate a better user experience, Jamf introduced App Switcher for administrators, aiming to improve navigation within the management platform. Upcoming features, such as a network relay service for secure onboarding, are also planned to enhance device connectivity.
