Infoblox Government Cloud Achieves FedRAMP Moderate Certification
Infoblox reported that its Infoblox Government Cloud reached FedRAMP Moderate certification. The company said the outcome enables federal agencies to use a cloud-managed platform for DNS, DHCP, IP address management, and network-centric asset visibility across on-premises and hybrid environments.
The announcement tied the certification to a centralized approach delivered through AWS GovCloud (US). Infoblox said the platform centralizes policy, automation, visibility, and lifecycle management while keeping mission-critical network services distributed where agency architectures and operational requirements apply.
Infoblox Government Cloud runs in AWS GovCloud (US) and includes Infoblox Universal DDI Management, Infoblox NIOS-X Servers, and Infoblox Universal Asset Insights. The company described the work as combining unified DDI management with lifecycle governance, including automated discovery, validation, and enrichment of asset inventory across cloud and on-premises.
Infoblox added that its Universal DDI and Universal Asset Insights mapped to guidance and initiatives including NIST Special Publication (SP) 800-81 Rev. 3 DNS architecture and resilience guidance, Zero Trust and Comply-to-Connect initiatives, and the federal IPv6 transition under OMB M-21-07. “Government agencies are modernizing faster than ever, but modernization isn’t just about moving to the cloud or adopting AI. It’s about building a resilient network foundation that aligns with current NIST guidance,” said Mukesh Gupta, chief product officer, Infoblox. “Infoblox Government Cloud delivers the modern DDI and network-centric asset intelligence agencies need to simplify operations, strengthen resilience and build the trusted foundation that supports today’s mission requirements and tomorrow’s innovations.” The company also said Craig P. Abod, president, Carahsoft, discussed the certification as a milestone for agencies and noted Carahsoft’s partnership with Infoblox.
