Gilat DataPath awarded over $7 million DoD contract for transportable satellite terminals

Gilat Defense supports U.S. Department of Defense connectivity

Gilat Satellite Networks Ltd. announced that its subsidiary, Gilat DataPath, won a contract valued at over $7 million for the provision of Transportable Satellite Communications (Satcom) Terminals to the U.S. Department of Defense through a prime contractor. This contract includes multiple units of the DKET 3421 transportable terminals, with deliveries projected by the end of 2025.

The DKET 3421 is designed to meet the demands for high quality, reliable Satcom. It features a scalable modem architecture that accommodates multi-carrier operations with up to 32 modems. Increased interest in deployable Satcom solutions stems from military requirements for resilient communication systems in various operational scenarios.
