GIGABYTE introduces X3D Turbo Mode 2.0 for AMD Ryzen 9000
GIGABYTE presented X3D Turbo Mode 2.0 at CES 2026, describing a new AI-powered performance tuning system for AMD Ryzen 9000 Series Processors with 3D V-Cache and a set of companion motherboards and designs.
The company framed the release as an expansion of its product lineup and design options, noting a focus on adaptive performance tuning and updated board layouts intended to simplify assembly and alter visual presentation for builders.
GIGABYTE said X3D Turbo Mode 2.0 was a hardware–software fusion that provided real-time, adaptive performance tuning and that it had been trained with massive real-world datasets; the feature was described as optimized for X3D Powered Ryzen 9000 Series Processors. The X870E AORUS XTREME X3D Artificial Intelligence (AI) TOP supported DDR5 speeds up to 9000+ MT/s and included thermal systems that reduced Vendor Risk Management (VRM) and Double Data Rate (DDR) temperatures by up to 8.5°C, lowered module temperatures by up to 9°C, and reduced Solid-State Drive (SSD) temperatures via an M.2 Thermal Guard XTREME by up to 22°C.
Product introductions at the event included the X870E AERO X3D WOOD, which featured wood-grain textures and leather pull tabs, and new black variants in the PROJECT STEALTH line encompassing X870 and B850 AORUS STEALTH motherboards. The reverse-connector layout was presented as a design choice to provide a cleaner, cableless appearance and an easier assembly process.
GIGABYTE displayed the products at its CES 2026 booth #8519 at LVCC North Hall and scheduled media and Verification IP sessions at Venetian Ballroom Level 3 Lido 3004, 3005, and 3104, and it said X3D Turbo Mode 2.0 was fully optimized and ready for the X3D Powered Ryzen 9000 Series Processors from launch.
