Equinix appoints Yanbing Li to Board of Directors

Equinix, Inc. announced the appointment of Yanbing Li to its Board of Directors. Currently, Li is Chief Product Officer at Datadog, responsible for enhancing the product portfolio to meet global customer needs.

Charles Meyers, Executive Chairman of Equinix, acknowledged Li’s experience in Artificial Intelligence (AI), cloud technology, and enterprise software. He stated, “Yanbing is a proven technology and business leader with deep expertise... Her experience will be a tremendous asset as we drive our next wave of growth.”

Before Datadog, Li served as Senior Vice President of Engineering at Aurora, overseeing software development for its autonomous driving service. She also held key positions at Google, including responsibility for aspects of Google Cloud, and was General Manager at VMware's Storage and Availability Business Unit.

Li has also been on the Boards of AVEVA and NeoPhotonics. She earned a Ph.D. from Princeton University and a master’s from Cornell University, along with completing the Stanford Executive Program in 2014.
