EdgeAI launches large-scale deployment of IoT devices across Asia
EdgeAI launched a large-scale deployment connecting over 20,000 industrial and maritime devices across Asia. This initiative builds on Tagvance’s Internet of Things (IoT) infrastructure.
Tagvance, a technology company based in Singapore, has established a significant IoT network in the region, generating approximately USD 2 million in annual revenue. The company has partnered with Nasdaq-listed Chijet Motor Company to enhance intelligent mobility and connected vehicle systems.
With EdgeAI, Tagvance expanded its technological foundation by introducing an autonomous intelligence layer that enables connected devices to process data and learn at the edge of the network. Central to this development is the Proof-of-Information-Entropy (PoIE) mechanism, which evaluates data's informational value. This serves as the basis for EdgeAI’s decentralized credit system in the Artificial Intelligence (AI) economy.
- “EdgeAI is the natural progression of everything we’ve built through Tagvance,” said Olivia Chen, Co-Founder of EdgeAI. “It turns industrial infrastructure into a living intelligence network — where machines can learn, collaborate, and generate value in real time.”
EdgeAI aims to bridge the gap between data generation and decision-making. By implementing this intelligence layer, the deployment transforms Tagvance's industrial capabilities into a network that integrates physical and digital realms.
This pilot project represents the initial step toward an economy driven by real-world data and machine collaboration. As the deployment expands, EdgeAI’s objectives become clearer.
- “EdgeAI is born from the real world — from working factories, ports, and sensor networks that already move data and create value every day,” Chen added. “We’re now connecting that foundation to a new era of machine autonomy and distributed intelligence.”
The project recently won the Technology Frontier Award at the 2025 Bincheng International Innovation & Entrepreneurship Competition.
