World Wide Technology (WWT) has finalized its acquisition of Softchoice for approximately $1.3 billion, expanding its range of services in software, cloud, cybersecurity, and Artificial Intelligence (AI) solutions. This move enhances WWT’s market presence while allowing Softchoice to continue operating under its brand and leadership.
With this acquisition, WWT aims to provide clients with a more comprehensive portfolio that supports their AI and digital transformation strategies. The partnership is expected to benefit a diverse range of clients, allowing for improved service delivery across various industries.
As a result of the merger, clients of WWT will now gain access to Softchoice’s specialized services and expanded consultant-led offerings, which include infrastructure and hardware solutions. Softchoice will also benefit from WWT's Advanced Technology Center and AI Proving Ground Lab, enhancing its capabilities in the cloud and digital workplace areas.
