ERI partners on Circular Electronics Design Guide

ERI, an IT and electronics asset disposition provider, collaborated with the Circular Electronics Partnership on the Circular Electronics Design Guide. This guide aims to provide strategic frameworks for implementing circular design within the electronics sector.

Released with contributions from over 60 experts, including ERI’s chief sustainability officer (CSO) David Hirschler and Vice President of Operational Strategy Anthony Borges, the guide outlines practical strategies for repair, refurbishment, and recycling. It supplies practitioners with tools to advance circular initiatives and transition towards a circular economy.

The guide includes a blueprint for creating a circular innovation process and case studies detailing successful approaches from industry leaders. ERI worked alongside multiple organizations like Accenture and Microsoft during its development, highlighting a collaborative effort across the industry.

John Shegerian, ERI’s Chairman and CEO, stated that the guide serves as a comprehensive resource developed by practitioners. It reflects a collective endeavor among companies to enhance circular design practices.
