Arrow Electronics expands managed services portfolio in North America
Arrow Electronics announced the expansion of its private label managed, professional, and implementation services portfolio in North America. This move aims to support channel partners in providing comprehensive solutions for Artificial Intelligence (AI), cloud, and security technologies, aligning with the industry's demand for integrated service offerings. The new services address key challenges faced by IT providers, including skill shortages and the high costs associated with developing managed services platforms. Arrow designed these offerings to provide steady cash flow and improve return on investment for its partners. The updated portfolio emphasizes AI solutions, offering management and maintenance for Large Language Models as well as individual services like use case discovery and app modernization. The expanded offerings build on existing services for cloud and security technologies, including 24/7 storage monitoring and secure cloud backup. Ben Klay, president of Arrow’s North America Enterprise computing solutions business, stated that providing innovative services is essential for channel partners to remain competitive. He noted that these services offer flexibility, enabling partners to enhance their brands and pricing strategies effectively. This expansion enhances Arrow's commitment to helping channel partners increase recurring revenue without the overhead typically tied to extensive service portfolios. The strategic initiative reinforces Arrow's aim to support partners through technological trends in AI, cloud, and security.
