Broadcom Announces New CloudHealth User Experience for Greater Cloud Spend Management Across Enterprise Teams

Broadcom has introduced a comprehensive new user experience for VMware Tanzu CloudHealth, incorporating AI-powered features that aim to enhance cloud spend management. The upgrades include Intelligent Assist, an Artificial Intelligence (AI) chatbot designed to provide insights through natural language, and Smart Summary, which helps users analyze cloud cost changes effectively. With these enhancements, Broadcom aims to facilitate collaboration among FinOps teams and make cloud financial management tools accessible to various stakeholders.

The new CloudHealth experience addresses the growing demands on FinOps teams, as they are now expected to manage an increased scope of cloud expenditures as highlighted in the recent State of FinOps 2025 report. Intelligent Assist empowers both technical and non-technical users to leverage CloudHealth's capabilities more efficiently. Smart Summary aids in identifying and managing cost changes, equipping users with the necessary insights for informed decision-making.

Purnima Padmanabhan, general manager of the Tanzu Division at Broadcom, expressed pride in the official launch, stating that the new features enhance collaboration and decision-making related to cloud spending. Broadcom has partnered with Arrow Electronics for the global expansion of CloudHealth, leveraging Arrow's support in sales and technical assistance to enhance customer accessibility.

Cedric Doignie, vice president of Arrow Electronics, noted that managing cloud costs remains a significant challenge, and the new AI-infused user experience represents an evolution in cloud financial management.

Broadcom positions the updated CloudHealth suite as a means to maintain control over technology spending, reinforcing its commitment to innovation in the cloud financial management domain.
