Delinea received an Overall Leader ranking in KuppingerCole’s Leadership Compass for Privileged Access Management (PAM) 2026, alongside leader recognition in Product, Innovation, and Market Leadership categories. KuppingerCole’s report recognized Delinea across multiple PAM Compass categories. The company said the PAM shift includes moving from managing accounts to controlling actions that human, machine, and AI identities can take.

In the report, Delinea’s PAM capabilities included Advanced Just-in-Time (JIT) and Just-Enough Privilege Controls, which covered ephemeral credentials, workstation admin rights, and granular server privilege elevation. With the StrongDM acquisiton, Delinea extended granular JIT to databases, Kubernetes environments, and cloud consoles using policy-based approvals.

The Compass also described Delinea’s unified approach to discovery, posture analysis, and control as part of a single continuum, including secretless, ephemeral, and zero-standing privilege access models with integration to existing on-premise and cloud-native vault solutions.
