Delinea Introduces Secret Server with FedRAMP High Authorization

Delinea stated that its Privileged Access Management solution, Secret Server, received FedRAMP High Authorization to Operate for use by U.S. Federal agencies. The availability on the FedRAMP Marketplace connects the product to cloud authorization requirements for sensitive unclassified data.

Delinea said FedRAMP High ATO followed the full FedRAMP authorization process, including an independent assessment by an accredited Third Party Assessment Organization. Secret Server is now authorized for use by federal agencies via the FedRAMP Marketplace.

In Delinea’s description, Secret Server is designed to centralize privileged credentials in an encrypted vault, manage service, application, administrator, and root accounts, automate provisioning and password policies, and rotate credentials. Delinea also described delegation of access using RBAC, workflows, and third-party approvals, along with monitoring and recording of privileged sessions.

Delinea said its partnership with UberEther supported the FedRAMP High authorization. “Federal agencies are under real pressure to modernize access controls for the AI era while meeting strict compliance requirements,” said Art Gilliland, CEO of Delinea. “Secret Server gives them a fully authorized PAM solution that enforces just-in-time authorization, reduces standing privilege, and makes every access decision defensible. We’re committed to building the infrastructure federal agencies need to govern access at scale, and FedRAMP High is the foundation for that.” “FedRAMP High Authorization is a significant achievement that reflects both technical excellence and execution discipline,” said Matt Topper, CEO of UberEther.
