Delinea Integrates with Cyera to Prioritize Data-Aware Identity Security in the AI Era
Delinea and Cyera outlined a product integration that links privileged access to sensitive data exposure. The stated goal is to connect identity access context with the data an identity can reach so security teams can focus on higher-risk access paths.
According to the companies, identities and AI agents can interact with data at machine speed, which creates difficulty in governing which privileged identities can access sensitive data. They said the integration focuses on identifying, prioritizing, and remediating the highest-risk access paths across human, machine, and AI agents.
Delinea and Cyera said the integration runs via API between the Delinea Platform and Cyera Data Security Posture Management (DSPM). Cyera continuously discovers, classifies, and monitors sensitive data across cloud and on-premises datastores, and labels and exposure context flow into Delinea to correlate each identity with the data it can access. Delinea then translates data classifications and exposure context into a continuously updated risk picture, using that picture to prioritize remediation, access reviews, and privileged access controls.
Delinea Platform integration with Cyera supports a data-aware approach to identity security at scale. Chris Kelly, president of Delinea, said, “Organizations cannot afford to manage access risk in one tool and data risk in another and hope someone connects the dots,” and added, “As human, machine, and AI identities multiply, security teams need better context to prioritize risk and govern access with confidence. Delinea and Cyera help bring identity and data context together so teams can focus on the risks that matter most.”
The companies said the integration is part of Delinea’s broader integration plans with Cyera and others, with information available in Delinea’s integrations center.
