The rise in connected devices presents cybersecurity challenges, exposing networks to vulnerabilities. A report indicated that a considerable portion of cyber claims in recent years arose from external threats, highlighting the need for enhanced security measures.

Nokia’s NetGuard Endpoint Detection And Response (EDR) system offers real-time threat detection and integrates with OneLayer’s security features to safeguard utility endpoints. The joint solution employs a zero-trust framework, enhancing the security of private cellular networks with features such as asset discovery and anomaly detection.

Dave Mor, CEO of OneLayer, acknowledged the partnership, stating the collaboration aims to empower utility companies to utilize combined value in mission-critical networks. Prakash Sagadopan from Nokia emphasized the necessity of secure solutions for improved Internet of Things (IoT) visibility and zero-trust security.
