Cyble and Botswana Communications Regulatory Authority Sign MoU to Advance National Cybersecurity in Botswana

Cyble Intelligent Network Controller (INC), a cybersecurity firm, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Botswana Communications Regulatory Authority (BOCRA) and the Botswana National CSIRT. This partnership aims to bolster Botswana's cybersecurity framework and enhance its digital resilience amid increasing global cyber threats.

The MoU will focus on enhancing cyber defense capabilities, improving incident response preparedness, and providing access to Cyble's threat intelligence technologies. Cyble will offer real-time intelligence on emerging threats sourced from its platforms that monitor malicious activities across open, deep, and dark web environments.

This collaboration is designed to facilitate knowledge transfer and create a sustainable cybersecurity talent pipeline within Botswana. Manish Chachada, Co-founder and COO of Cyble, expressed confidence that the partnership would strengthen Botswana's cyber resilience, stating, “By combining Cyble's threat intelligence expertise with BOCRA's regulatory leadership, we are confident in our ability to strengthen Botswana's cyber resilience.”
