Crusoe said it committed $50 million in high-performance AI compute credits over three years for the Genesis Mission Consortium. The company made the pledge at the White House Science: A New Golden Age Summit.
Crusoe described the contribution as support for the Genesis Mission (EO 14363), which it said was an Administration initiative to harness AI for scientific breakthroughs. The company also linked the commitment to a broader public-private effort discussed at the same event.
Crusoe said the credits would provide capacity for high-performance compute and inference workloads through Crusoe Cloud. It also said the plan included technical support for researchers across more than 15 federal agencies, including the DOE, NASA, NIH, and NSF.
Chase Lochmiller said, “AI-driven computation is fast becoming the foundational engine of modern scientific discovery,” and added, “By committing $50 million in AI compute and inference credits to the Genesis Mission, Crusoe is putting powerful AI infrastructure directly into the hands of federal researchers tackling the nation's biggest challenges in energy and health. We're proud to make Crusoe Cloud more accessible to more innovators.”
