Comcast Business completed a project in Naperville, Illinois, extending its network to Block 59, a new 16.5-acre redevelopment area. This initiative followed an investment of $1.4 billion in Illinois over the past three years and aims to enhance the local business environment by providing high-speed Internet and advanced technology solutions.
With the network extension finalized, businesses in Block 59 can access Comcast Business offerings, including Internet speeds of up to 100 Gigabits per second via Ethernet, Advanced Voice, and various cloud services. This availability positions Comcast Business to support businesses of all sizes in meeting operational demands.
Local leaders acknowledged the project's role in revitalizing the Route 59 corridor. Naperville Mayor Scott Wehrli highlighted the positive impact on the community, stating that Comcast's investment would enhance dining and entertainment opportunities. Kaylin Risvold, President and CEO of the Naperville Area Chamber of Commerce, noted that the redevelopment would attract visitors and investors, reinforcing the area's economic growth.
