Coder Receives AWS Migration and Modernization Competency Status
Coder received AWS Migration and Modernization Competency status for AWS Partners, according to the company. The designation links Coder to AWS’s program for identifying partners involved in application migration and modernization.
AWS launched the AWS Migration and Modernization Competency to help customers work with specialized AWS Partners that modernize applications either before or after migration to AWS. The program focuses on identifying and validating partners based on technical proficiency and demonstrated customer success in migration and modernization tooling.
Coder’s status is described as recognition of technical proficiency and customer success in automating and accelerating application migration and modernization journeys. The company’s cited tooling performs an application portfolio assessment, identifies candidates for modernization, and augments and automates developer tasks used to modernize legacy applications.
“Achieving the AWS Migration and Modernization Competency status reflects how our customers are evolving their development environments alongside their applications,” said Rob Whiteley, CEO of Coder. “We’re focused on giving teams a secure, flexible foundation to build and govern modern software, coding agents, and AI tools as part of the development process.”
