Coder Named to Redpoint Ventures’ 2026 InfraRed 100
Coder said it was named to Redpoint Ventures’ 2026 InfraRed 100, an annual list run by the venture firm. The designation centers on private companies building infrastructure used to support AI development.
Redpoint Ventures launched the InfraRed 100 in 2023 to recognize emerging companies building infrastructure across developer tools, security, data, enterprise platforms, and beyond. In this year’s release, Redpoint tied the list to the operational need for governance as AI coding agents move into production.
Coder described a self-hosted approach that provides “agent-ready workspaces” for developers and AI agents. It said the workspaces are designed to offer consistent, isolated environments where code, data, and compute can be accessed under enterprise-controlled policies, supporting AI-assisted and autonomous development while keeping control over where software is built.
The company linked its placement to changing requirements for systems that run AI agents and referred to “Claude Code and Codex” being deployed to knowledge workers. In a separate statement, Redpoint also said its firm has backed companies including Snowflake, Twilio, Ramp, Stripe, HashiCorp, and Netflix.
“AI agents create a new set of requirements for the systems that run them,” said Rob Whiteley, CEO at Coder. “The need for secure sandboxes grows exponentially as agents like Claude Code and Codex are deployed to all knowledge workers. Coder’s inclusion in the InfraRed 100 highlights the need for infrastructure that supports this shift while meeting enterprise expectations for security and control.”
